Georgia’s Development Corporation Plans Expanded Business-Financing Support

Announced on 21 October, Georgia’s planned Development Corporation is intended to support up to GEL 40 billion in investment over ten years, including financing for SMEs and strategic projects. The initiative may increase demand for business advisory, technical training and project-management expertise as programmes develop. Employers, recruitment firms and training providers can explore opportunities in workforce planning, professional skills development and technical recruitment. HPC can support workforce analytics, skills planning and technology-enabled training; no separate HR-services budget was disclosed.
